Fraile Alpaca Shawl

Named after the Fraile volcano.

Our large alpaca wool scarves are a true work of art and are made by our artisan women from the Andes of South America. This scarf was handmade by Verónica Mamani and is a beautiful shade of mustard. The pattern is a combination of plain and hole patterns, giving the scarf a special touch.

At Andes Alpaca, we place great emphasis on using natural materials and following traditional handicraft techniques. Therefore, this scarf is not only a beautiful accessory, but also a symbol of the millennia-old craftsmanship of the Andes region. The alpaca wool comes exclusively from free-roaming alpacas, and for dyeing we use only natural dyes, without the use of chemicals.
